Scott Tidal 1090/4 Fly Rod

Engineered for reliable performance in coastal environments, the 9-foot 10-weight Tidal fly rod features a progressive flex pattern designed to reduce fatigue during repeated casting. This four-piece trade-in model balances travel-friendly portability with proven saltwater strength, including the manufacturers original carrying case, transport bag, and retail packaging.

• Dimensions & Line Rating: 9-foot shaft coupled with a 10wt designation for efficient fly turnover and established hauling power over medium to large saltwater species.
• Construction: Four-section layout packs into a compact length for vehicle or airline transport while preserving blank alignment and tip sensitivity.
• Balance & Recovery: Moderately forgiving action distributes stress across the mid-to-tip section, offering a more patient response than traditional fast-or-moderate saltwater blanks.
• Condition & Packaging: Surface shows minor handling wear consistent with verified use; ships fully assembled for inspection alongside the factory hard case, soft bag, and box inserts.

The forgiving transition point simplifies timing windows for anglers transitioning to tropical or brackish systems, reducing the physical load when punching leaders through dense mangrove foliage. Casters benefit from lower arm strain during long days of drifting or wading narrow waterways where rhythm matters. You receive a complete, ready-to-run system that eliminates guesswork, ensuring secure storage and immediate field deployment without additional accessories.
