The Parachute Pheasant Tail is a versatile mayfly imitation that blends the proven profile of the classic Pheasant Tail with the visibility and floatation of a parachute-style dry fly. Designed to imitate emerging mayflies and duns, this pattern rides low in the film with a natural silhouette that trout readily trust during selective feeding situations. The parachute post makes the fly easy to track in rough water and changing light, while the pheasant tail fibers create a realistic body and tail profile.
