Combination with finesse skirt: Downsized model of the Fat Ika
Recommended hook is #2/0 offset. The rigged weight is just under 7g, making it easy to handle with medium-class baitcasting tackle. It proves useful even in situations where tackle options are limited. Also, when you want slightly less volume than the Fat Ika or wish to slow down the fall speed, the Baby Fat Ika will definitely come in handy.
While traditional rubber skirts consist of 24 strands, the finesse skirt has only 12 strands. This lighter skirt produces a highly responsive flaring action, even when paired with lightweight rigs, and performs exceptionally well in combination with the Baby Fat Ika. Even with a no-sinker rig, it flares widely without stiffness, effectively appealing to bass.
The Baby Fat Ika features a center-balanced body design. This helps maintain a horizontal posture during the fall, promoting a sliding fall action.
