Duo Metal Jig Drag Metal Cast Slim Hirame 40 grams ACC0672 (8436)

40g | Finish: ACC0672

The Duo Drag Metal Cast Slim Hirame is a shore-casting metal jig built around a slim baitfish profile, with this 40g version sitting in the sweet spot for surf, beach gutters, shallow rock edges and flatfish zones.

It is not trying to behave like a wide slow jig; the point is to cast far, cut cleanly through wind, and keep a tight baitfish silhouette when you are covering water from the shore.

The slim body matters because it gives you two useful ways to fish it.

Burn it back and it tracks like a fleeing small baitfish, which is good when fish are chasing.

Let it drop on a semi-slack line and the jig flashes on the fall, which is where flatfish, trevally and other ambush predators often eat it.

Use a steady retrieve when you are searching a long stretch of beach, then mix in short lifts and controlled drops once you feel bottom, bait, or current changes.

In shallow surf, avoid letting it plough the bottom for too long; quick touches and lifts usually look more natural than dragging it like a sinker.

This is a better pick when you need distance and a narrow baitfish shape than when you need a slow, hanging presentation.

If the fish are holding deep in heavy current, step up in weight; if they are feeding high and close, a minnow or lighter jig may look less aggressive.

The ACC0672 finish should be chosen by visibility rather than by name alone.

If it looks natural or silver, use it for clear water and baitfish-matching.

If it has pink, chartreuse, glow or heavy flash, save it for low light, surf, stained water or reaction bites.

The lure’s action and size matter first; the finish fine-tunes how easily fish can find it.

TARGET SPECIES: flatfish, sea bass, trevally, queenfish, tailor/bluefish, mackerel and other shore-based predators eating small baitfish.
