Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Can I use a fixed-spool reel on this rod? No, this is a casting model specifically designed for baitcasting or multiplier reels. The guide layout and the trigger grip on the reel seat are built exclusively for reels that sit on top of the rod.
Is this rod strong enough for large Pike? Yes! While it is rated up to 40g (medium-heavy), it has plenty of power in the butt section to handle a double-figure Pike. However, if you are strictly throwing massive 100g+ jerkbaits, you may want a dedicated heavy Pike rod.
Is it a 2-piece rod? Yes, it breaks down into two sections, making it easy to transport in most car boots or rod sleeves.
What is the best line to use? We recommend a braid between 0.15mm and 0.20mm for the best balance of casting distance and strength
