When the mayfly is hatching and there is a good wave on the water, there is no better fly to have on your cast than a wet mayfly pattern . Top Irish Guide and Fly Dresser Jackie Mahon has designed this range of wet mayflies, this is what he says about this particular pattern “A mayfly that works from the first hatch right to the end of the season ,great pattern when the dark duns are hatching”
