Ima Rocket Bait 95 Heavy Sinking Lure 017

95mm | Heavy Sinking | Heavy sinking surf pencil | Finish: 017

The Rocket Bait 95 Heavy Sinking Lure is a heavy sinking surf pencil for distance, wind, and fishing below surface chop.

It gives you more casting authority and depth control than a light shallow plug while keeping a slim baitfish profile.

Fish it with a steady retrieve first, then add lifts, sweeps, or pauses to make it rise, fall, and flash through the lane.

The key is depth control: count it down when fish are lower, keep it high when bait is being pushed near the surface.

It is strongest in surf gutters, current seams, river mouths, and rocky wash where predators are feeding on slim baitfish.

It is not ideal for crawling slowly through shallow snags; use it where you have room to swim the lure properly.

The baitfish-style finish is best treated as the natural option for clear to lightly stained water and sight-feeding fish.

It is not the first choice for muddy water, but it looks more believable when predators are already keyed in on real bait.

TARGET SPECIES: sea bass, flatfish, trevally, bluefish, snapper, queenfish, and shore predators feeding around bait, current, surf, and rock edges.
