Nash Scope OPS 9ft 3.5lb CG Abbreviated

Nash Scope OPS 9ft 3.5lb CG Abbreviated Rod

The Nash Scope OPS 9ft 3.5lb CG Abbreviated rod is the ultimate high-performance, compact powerhouse for the serious angler who relies on heavy braid or demanding snag/shock leaders. It combines the premium power and stability of the OPS blank with ultra-durable ceramic guides in a minimal, modern format.

Why Choose the 9ft 3.5lb CG Abbreviated for Advanced Angling?

• Ultra-Durable Ceramic Guides (CG): This model features specialized Ceramic Guide (CG) ringing, offering the most durable ring lining available. This is crucial for preventing wear when using high-diameter braided mainlines or bulky snag/shock leader knots repeatedly, especially during aggressive retrieves from snags.
• Premium Blank Technology: Built on a superior 30tonne high modulus carbon and low resin blank with a 1K Toray external weave, this rod delivers exceptional, crisp recovery. The 45 multi-directional fibre reinforcement significantly reduces twist, focusing energy for maximum power and accuracy, vital in a shorter rod.
• Maximum Compact Power & Casting: The 3.5lb test curve provides the serious backbone needed for aggressive fish control and casting heavy PVA bags. Crucially, it features a 50mm butt ring (standard on 3.5lb and above models), a key feature that reduces line friction and maximizes casting potential, even on the compact 9ft blank.
• Modern & Lightweight Grip: The Abbreviated Black Duplon handle (often referred to simply as Abbreviated in the Scope range) offers a sleek, minimal, and modern appearance, reducing weight and providing a secure, tactile grip.
• Ultimate Mobility: The 9ft length is perfectly suited for stalking and restricted swims. The patented telescoping butt design reduces the packed-down size to just 44inches (112cm), making it exceptionally portable and quick to deploy.

Key Construction Features (Scope OPS Range):

The rod features a premium Carbon Pipe Reel Seat with engraved Nash logos and a flattened thumb grip, along with stylish Scope branding details along the handle.
