Shimano Sienna Spinning Cork 2.41m 10-35g 2pc

Shimano Sienna Spinning 2.41m (10-35g) | Classic Cork Edition

At Gerrys Fishing, we know that many anglers appreciate the timeless look and natural feel of a traditional handle. The Shimano Sienna Spinning Cork model delivers the same punchy performance as the rest of the Sienna family but with a classic aesthetic. Designed to be the ultimate partner for the best-selling Sienna reel, this rod offers Shimanos legendary engineering at a price that wont break the bank.

This 2.41m (approx. 8ft) model is the sweet spot for versatility. With a 10-35g casting weight, it is beefy enough to punch out medium-sized Pike lures but sensitive enough to enjoy the scrap of a canal-side Perch. Built on a Full Carbon blank, its light, strong, and ready for action.

Why the Sienna Cork Stands Out

• Full Carbon Construction: Unlike cheaper composite rods, the Siennas carbon blank is responsive and crisp. This means better lure control and a much lighter feel in the hand during long sessions.

• Timeless Cork Handle: This version features a classic cork split-grip. Cork provides a warm, natural touch and a grip that actually improves when wetperfect for those who prefer a traditional look.

• Forgiving Moderate-Fast Action: This action is ideal for those still perfecting their cast. It loads smoothly and provides a progressive bend that cushions the lunges of a hard-fighting fish, helping you land more of what you hook.

• Shimano Hardlite Guides: Equipped with durable stainless steel frames and aluminum oxide liners, these guides are ready for both monofilament and braided lines.

Use Example: All-Round River & Estuary Luring

Picture yourself walking a river bank or a quiet estuary mouth. Youve got a 20g silver spinner or a 4-inch soft plastic rigged up, searching for Pike or schoolie Bass.

The 2.41m length gives you the perfect balanceits long enough to clear bankside reeds on the cast but short enough to be manageable in tight spots. As you retrieve, the sensitive carbon blank lets you feel the lure working. When a predator hits, the Moderate-Fast action takes the sting out of the initial strike, while the Cork handle offers a comfortable, secure grip as you lead the fish to the net.
