Gerrys Clip n’ Cast Cascade Swivels

Gerrys Clip n Cast Cascade Swivels

The Gerrys Clip n Cast Cascade Swivels are a specialized component designed for sea anglers who require precision and reliability when building multi-hook clip-down rigs. These swivels serve a dual purpose: they act as a high-quality rotation point to prevent line twist and incorporate an integrated bait clip to streamline your cast.

By securing the hook directly to the swivel during the cast, these cascades significantly reduce aerodynamic drag and prevent helicoptering, ensuring your bait reaches maximum distance while remaining neatly tucked behind the lead.

Key Uses and Applications

• Multi-Hook Cascade Rigs: These are the essential building blocks for two or three-hook cascade rigs. They allow each hook to be clipped to the swivel above it, with the bottom hook clipping into the lead link, creating a streamlined daisy chain for long-range casting.

• Tangle Prevention: The smooth-rotating swivel body is critical for shore fishing in heavy tides or surf, as it allows the hook snood to spin freely, preventing the line from twisting around the rig body.

• Versatile Rig Building: While designed for cascades, they can also be used as a secondary bait clip on pulley rigs or custom long-range shore traces where a secure, aerodynamic bait release is required upon impact with the water
