Pushing the boundaries of form and beauty.
As a lure makeror more importantly, as an anglerthis is the kind of lure I want to fish with. A lure that etches unforgettable moments into memory, alongside the beauty of native trout. I wanted to create something that would satisfy that deep desire. A lure born not just of function, but of purpose. And above all, I wanted to craft something for those who value beauty in their gear. Thats how Mononofu came to be. Of course, core performance like strong swimming action and excellent castability are essential. But in developing this new stream minnow, we went even furtherpursuing aesthetic form as a key element. When you hold this lure in your hand, reminiscent of fine handmade craftsmanship, it satisfies a primal desire for beauty. Like a Mononofua warriorthis lure stands with purity, dignity, and boldness. Its not just a tool, but a statement of spirit.
Like the 50S, the 45S delivers a clean, consistent action with no quirks. While its slightly lighter at 4.0g, the internal weight ratio is set highallowing it to shoot toward your target like a bullet, with impressive casting precision. In most cases, 45mm-class lures serve as follow-up options to the standard 50mm size, and are typically tuned lighter. But the Mononofu 45S isnt just a downsized versionits an aggressive, purpose-driven tool. With a slightly tail-weighted design compared to the 50S, it sinks more quickly to the intended strike zone right after splashdown. Despite its compact body, the 45S shares the same larger lip design as the 50S, allowing for an ultra-smooth startup. Theres no delay on the swim-out, letting you hit pinpoint spots with a fast, rhythmic approach.
