Duo Press Bait Saira 175 Sinking Lure DDA0015 (4144)

175mm | Sinking | Finish: DDA0015

The Duo Press Bait Saira is a long baitfish-profile casting plug for situations where predators are chasing garfish, saury, needlefish or other slim surface bait.

At 175mm, it is not a finesse lure; it is for reaching fish and showing them a proper long meal.

The slender body matters because it gives a different look from a fat minnow or popper.

It casts well, tracks like a fleeing long baitfish, and can be worked with speed when pelagics are pushing bait near the surface.

Fish it with a fast steady retrieve when fish are visibly chasing, or use sweeps and pauses when they are following but not committing.

Keep the rod angle controlled so the lure stays swimming rather than skipping uselessly across the top.

This is not ideal when fish are locked onto tiny bait or when you need a deep-running lure.

It is strongest when long bait is present, birds are working, or predators are pushing bait high in the water.

The DDA0015 finish should be chosen by visibility rather than by name alone.

If it looks natural or silver, use it for clear water and baitfish-matching.

If it has pink, chartreuse, glow or heavy flash, save it for low light, surf, stained water or reaction bites.

The lure’s action and size matter first; the finish fine-tunes how easily fish can find it.

TARGET SPECIES: kingfish/yellowtail, mahi-mahi, bonito, tuna-class juveniles, trevally, queenfish, bluefish and other predators chasing long bait.
