Shimano Vanquish FC 4000M HG

Shimano Vanquish FC 4000M HG: The Ultimate Technical Powerhouse

Push the boundaries of what is possible with the Shimano Vanquish FC 4000M HG. As the pinnacle of the Shimano Magnumlite philosophy, this reel is crafted with Japanese precision for anglers who demand elite-level performance.1 The 4000M HG combines a lightweight frame with the torque and line capacity needed for larger freshwater predators and inshore saltwater adventures.

Beyond Lightness, Beyond Expectations

The first thing you will notice is the weightor the lack of it. At just 205g, the Vanquish 4000M HG allows for fatigue-free fishing all day long. Built with a Ci4+ body and the ultra-light Magnumlite (MGL) Rotor, this reel offers incredibly low start-up inertia. This means you can start your retrieve instantly and feel every vibration of your lure with unmatched clarity.

The Medium Spool Advantage

The 4000M designation features a medium-depth spool, perfectly optimized for modern PE/Braided lines. This eliminates the need for heavy line backing, reducing the overall weight of your setup and ensuring a perfectly flat line lay. Combined with the High Gear (HG) ratio, it provides a versatile retrieval speed of 95cm per crankideal for twitching minnows, working jigs, or managing line in flowing water.

Flagship Tech Derived from STELLA

Dont let the lightweight feel fool you; this reel is packed with Shimanos most advanced heavy-duty technologies:

• InfinityDrive & InfinityXross: These systems work in tandem to provide powerful, lightweight rotation even under heavy loads. When you hook into a trophy fish, you can maintain constant, consistent cranking pressure.

• InfinityLoop: By significantly slowing down the spool oscillation, Shimano has drastically reduced line friction, resulting in extraordinary casting distances that help you reach the fish others cant.

• X-Protect & Anti-Twist Fin: A high-level waterproof structure ensures longevity in harsh environments, while the Anti-Twist Fin maintains perfect line tension to prevent wind knots.
