Bassday Sugar Minnow Bottom Twitcher 85ES Sinking Lure 17 grams M-14

85mm | 17g | Sinking | bottom twitch minnow | 17 grams M-14

The Sugar Minnow Bottom Twitcher 85ES Sinking Lure is a bottom-twitching minnow made for fish that hold low instead of chasing high in the water.

The extra-sinking body helps it get down quickly, while the small minnow shape still looks like injured bait rather than a plain chunk of metal.

That makes it useful when you need the lure to swim properly at a specific level instead of simply flashing through the water.

Let it reach the bottom or the chosen layer, then work it with small hops, sharp twitches, and controlled pauses.

Most bites usually come when the lure changes speed or stalls after the twitch.

Change the speed based on the fish: faster for reaction bites, slower and more stop-start when the water is cold, clear, or pressured.

For the 17 grams M-14 finish, match it to the actual lure appearance and water clarity: natural or flashed for clean water, brighter contrast when visibility drops, and darker silhouettes when fish are looking up.

The honest limitation is snag risk.

It is best used where you can read the bottom and keep the retrieve controlled, not blindly drag it through heavy timber or sharp reef.

TARGET SPECIES: trout, bass, perch, bream, rockfish, flathead, and predators that hold close to bottom structure or current seams.
