Blazeye Evoroots 99DS Sinking Lure #61

Sinking | Hardbait

The Blazeye Evoroots 99DS Sinking Lure #61 is a shore-casting hard lure made for anglers who want a slim baitfish profile with more freedom than a conventional lipped minnow.

The lipless design matters because it does not lock you into one fixed wobble.

Your retrieve controls how hard it works, how high it holds, and how much it flashes through the water.

A steady retrieve keeps it tracking like a fleeing baitfish.

Short twitches make it break rhythm and look like prey losing balance, while pauses let the lure hang or sink depending on the model.

That stop-start control is valuable when predators are following from behind, because the lure gives them a moment to close the distance instead of racing away the whole time.

At Sinking | Hardbait, it suits shorelines, estuaries, river mouths, beaches, rock edges, and open flats where fish are hunting bait in the upper to middle water column.

It is not a magic lure for every depth.

If fish are sitting deep and refusing to move up, a metal jig, vibe, or deeper minnow will usually make more sense.

Because this variant is mainly identified by its finish name/code, the safest way to think about it is by visibility on the day.

Use it when the contrast matches your water and light level, and switch to a brighter or more natural finish when the conditions clearly call for it.

TARGET SPECIES: sea bass, flatfish, trevally, queenfish, bluefish, snapper, and other shore-based predators feeding on baitfish.
