The fat body creates powerful water displacement! A new standard pencil for the black porgy topwater game!
The Chupazo 60 is a pencil bait with a fundamentally different performance from all previous black porgy topwater lures. It is not a slim, primarily sliding pencil bait that is merely an extension of a sea bass lure.
With its fat body, the Chupazo 60 displaces a remarkable amount of water, producing a powerful push that, for a lure of only 6cm, is surprisingly effective at calling fish from a wide range. The large body volume also makes it easy to perform a “slow-and-steady” action with minimal travel distance to entice finicky bites. This allows it to not only call in fish from afar but also convert a chasing fish into a strike without being seen through.
