Century Eliminator T1200 14ft 4 Salvador Bustos Signature Rod

Century Eliminator T1200 Salvador Bustos Signature (14 4 | 58oz)

The Century Eliminator T1200 Salvador Bustos Signature Rod is a specialized, high-performance masterpiece developed in collaboration with multi-time World Casting Champion Salvador Bustos. Based on the formidable T1200, this signature edition has been shortened to 14 4 to meet Bustoss exact requirements for extra energy storage and lightning-fast recovery. This rod is a beast designed for the elite angler who demands the pinnacle of power for heavy ground, strong tides, and extreme tournament-level casting.

Built with Formula 1-grade Spread Tow Fabric (STF) and Centurys proprietary HPR Resin, the T1200 feels deceptively light and responsive in the hand. However, once activated, it reveals an immense power reserve capable of launching 8oz leads and large baits into the horizon. This is a highly sought-after tool for those who fish the most challenging marks, such as the rugged North East coast, where raw winching power is a necessity.

Technical Specifications

Key Performance Technologies

• Salvador Bustos Custom Action: The shortened 14 4 length is engineered to deliver extra energy storage reserves. This modification creates a rod that recovers faster than the standard T1200, allowing elite casters to maximize lead velocity.

• 45/45 STF & AT-T: By weaving Spread Tow Fabric (used in F1 chassis) into the blank, Century has significantly reduced blank twist. This enhanced Anti-Twist Technology ensures the guides stay perfectly aligned under the massive torque of a 200m+ cast.

• Autoclave Technology: The blank is cured under extreme pressure to virtually eliminate test curve decay. This means the rod maintains its original power and snap over a lifetime of heavy use.

• Titanium K Guides: These ultra-light, robust guides are rung to suit both multiplier and fixed spool reels. Their anti-tangle design is critical for high-power casts with modern braided or monofilament lines.

Examples of Where to Use

• Rough Ground Specialist: The primary choice for winching large Cod and Conger through heavy kelp and over jagged rock ledges.

• Heavy Tide Venues: Ideal for the North East coast or the Bristol Channel, where holding bottom with 8oz leads in a racing tide is the standard.

• Tournament Casting: A world-class competition tool designed to break records and deliver unparalleled distance in the right hands.

• Big Bait Specimen Hunting: Perfect for delivering whole squid or large fish-bait packages to distant marks where big predators roam.

Pro Tip from Gerrys Fishing

The Signature Power: The Salvador Bustos Signature is not for the faint-hearted; it is a rod that rewards proper technique with staggering performance. Because it features a 25mm butt diameter, it provides a solid, confident feel during the compression phase of a cast. We recommend utilizing the Fuji DPS sliding reel seat to find your optimal power pointpositioning the reel slightly higher can give you the extra leverage needed to fully load the STF-reinforced butt section. For night fishing in the rough stuff, the 3M reflective tip tape is incredibly bright, ensuring you never miss a bite even in a howling gale
