Chasebaits Drunken Mullet Jr 70 mm 11 grams Floating Lure 03

70mm | 11g | Floating | Hardbait

The Chasebaits Drunken Mullet Jr 70 mm 11 grams Floating Lure 03 is a mullet-profile hard lure made for imitating a chunky inshore baitfish rather than a slim anchovy or tiny fry.

That body shape matters because mullet do not move like needles.

They push more water, show a broader side profile, and become an obvious target when predators are hunting around flats, drains, mangroves, rock edges, and shallow reef.

Fish it with a steady retrieve when you want it to look like a mullet moving through a lane.

Add twitches or rod sweeps when you want it to break rhythm and look stressed.

The pause is especially useful around structure because predators often track behind before committing.

If the lure keeps swimming away at one speed, those followers may never turn into bites.

At 70mm | 11g | Floating | Hardbait, this version has enough profile to be noticed without needing to be fished aggressively all the time.

It is best when there are actual mullet or bigger baitfish around, or when you need a lure with more body than a thin minnow.

It is less suitable when fish are locked onto tiny bait or when you need a lure to run deep.

The baitfish-style colour is best used when the water has enough visibility for fish to key in on a natural silhouette.

It is the safer pick for clear to lightly stained water, sunny periods, and situations where predators are feeding on slim bait rather than reacting purely to flash.

TARGET SPECIES: barramundi, mangrove jack, flathead, sea bass, trevally, snapper, queenfish, and other inshore predators feeding on mullet-sized bait.
