Chasebaits Ultimate Squid 200 mm Sinking Lure 3/pack 106

200mm | Sinking | Hardbait

The Chasebaits Ultimate Squid 200 mm Sinking Lure 3/pack 106 is a squid-profile lure, so the strength is silhouette and hang time rather than a tight baitfish wobble.

Squid are a high-value meal for many predators, and a longer soft-bodied profile can look vulnerable when it is paused, swept, or allowed to glide.

Fish it with slow sweeps, pauses, and controlled lifts.

A straight burn can work when fish are aggressive, but the more natural approach is to make it look like a squid trying to move away without fully escaping.

Around reef edges, weed lines, lights, current seams, and deeper bait schools, the pause is often where fish decide to eat.

At 200mm | Sinking | Hardbait, this is a bigger target.

Use it when predators are feeding on squid, garfish, slim bait, or larger soft-bodied prey.

It is not ideal when fish are focused on tiny bait or when you need a small finesse presentation.

Because this variant is mainly identified by its finish name/code, the safest way to think about it is by visibility on the day.

Use it when the contrast matches your water and light level, and switch to a brighter or more natural finish when the conditions clearly call for it.

TARGET SPECIES: snapper, mulloway, barramundi, kingfish, trevally, queenfish, grouper, and other predators that eat squid or long soft-profile bait.
