Daiwa SAG300HL Saltiga 300 Conventional Jigging Reel Left Hand

Daiwa SAG300HL Saltiga 300 Conventional Jigging Reel

Equipped to help anglers master offshore jigging around the globe, the Daiwa SAG300HL Saltiga 300 Conventional Jigging Reel puts unparalleled precision and power into the hands of those pursuing anything from reef fish to pelagics. The Saltiga 300 Jigging Reels benefit from Daiwa’s HYPERDRIVE DESIGN technologies to greatly improve fluidity and winding power. HYPERDRIVE DESIGN takes a four-pronged approach that includes redesigned gearing for a smoother and more efficient transfer of power, along with enhanced support features to resist torque and preserve internal alignment.

This iteration of the renowned Saltiga platform has features never previously seen in combination with eachother, specifically a spool locking mechanism along with a levelwind system. Daiwa’s signature MAGSEAL technology works to protect the reels internals from water, dirt, and dust intrusion, ensuring long term optimal performance. These jigging reels feature an oversized T-bar handle for additional fighting leverage when winching tough reef fish out of their lairs. Lastly, the Saltiga 300 more resistant to saltwater intrusion than ever before thanks to an anode protection system is also integrated into the handle side. Built specifically for harsh conditions, the Saltig 300 is a powerful new tool for mastering offshore jigging.

HYPERDRIVE DESIGN

This next-generation concept for the baitcasting and conventional reels focuses on maintaining excellent initial turning performance while significantly enhancing overall functionality.

HYPERDRIVE DESIGN incorporates four key technologies:

• HYPERDRIVE DIGIGEAR: A brand-new gear design makes the teeth of the gears more efficient at transferring power, therefore making the gear set feel smoother, more powerful and also reducing gear noise.
• HYPER DOUBLE SUPPORT: A two bearing support system for the reel’s pinion gear means no flex and an ultra-smooth retrieve and gear rotation.
• HYPER ARMED HOUSING: A robust case that provides strong internal support, preventing twisting or deformation, allowing for reliable operation in challenging environments.
• HYPER TOUGH CLUTCH: A redesigned and reinforced clutch mechanism increases durability and performance. An insulating structure minimizes salt buildup, ensuring stable performance across various fishing conditions.

MAGSEALED BALL BEARING

These unqiue bearings utilize a magnetic oil film that prevents water and debris from entering the ball bearing, ensuring it maintains smooth performance. This innovation not only reduces issues like rust, salt buildup, and abnormal noise but also eliminates the need for washers. It enhances both waterproofing and durability, allowing the ball bearing to retain its initial performance over time.

ATD (ADVANCED TOURNAMENT DRAG)

ATD is a sophisticated drag system designed for reliability and longevity. It adjusts smoothly to the fish’s pulling force, providing a consistent and smooth line release. This allows anglers to focus on their fishing without the need to worry about adjusting the drag force.
