Drift Outfitters Heron Spey Hackle

The Drift Outfitters Heron Spey Hackle is a premium selection of long, flowing feathers specifically chosen for tying modern Spey flies, steelhead flies, salmon flies, intruders, and traditional wet flies.

Carefully selected for their exceptional movement and consistent quality, these feathers create the lifelike profile and fluid motion that make Spey-style patterns so effective in moving water.

Each pack contains 6 premium hackle feathers, offering plenty of material for tying multiple flies. Available in Small, Medium, Large, and X-Large, Drift Outfitters Heron Spey Hackle allows fly tiers to match the feather size to everything from classic steelhead patterns to large intruders and Atlantic salmon flies.

The soft, mobile fibers pulse naturally with the current, creating subtle movement that imitates baitfish, leeches, and aquatic prey while maintaining the elegant profile characteristic of traditional Spey flies. These versatile feathers are equally effective for contemporary steelhead patterns and classic salmon fly designs.

Whether you’re tying flowing hackle collars, full-bodied Spey flies, or modern intruder-style patterns, Drift Outfitters Heron Spey Hackle provides the premium quality and natural movement needed to create flies that consistently produce fish.
