Duo Metal Jig Drag Metal Cast Slow SLJ 40 grams PPA0394 (2189)

40g | Finish: PPA0394

The Duo Drag Metal Cast Slow SLJ is a casting jig for anglers who want more fall time than a normal slim metal.

This 40g version is useful when fish are not smashing fast retrieves but will eat a lure that flashes and stalls on the drop.

The slower fall is the main point.

Instead of racing straight back to you, the jig gives predators a longer look during the pause, which is valuable around bait schools, reef edges and pressured water where fish follow but do not always commit.

Cast it out, let it sink to the depth you want, then work it with short lifts, half-pitches and controlled slack.

Most bites come as the jig falls, so keep enough contact to feel the line stop or tick, but do not pull it so tight that you kill the flutter.

It is not the best choice when you need maximum distance in strong wind or when fish are only reacting to speed.

It shines when the bite is slower and the fall is more important than a straight retrieve.

The PPA0394 finish should be chosen by visibility rather than by name alone.

If it looks natural or silver, use it for clear water and baitfish-matching.

If it has pink, chartreuse, glow or heavy flash, save it for low light, surf, stained water or reaction bites.

The lure’s action and size matter first; the finish fine-tunes how easily fish can find it.

TARGET SPECIES: snapper, sea bass, trevally, flatfish, grouper, mackerel and light-jigging inshore predators.
