35g | Floating

The Skip 28+ Hand Made Wood Frog Floating Lure 35 grams is a heavier frog for bigger water, thicker cover, and more casting presence.

It is made for working shallow cover with a floating profile that can be paused, twitched, or walked around the places fish use as ambush points.

Work it through weed gaps, timber, pads, reeds, drains, and shade lines.

Short rod twitches make it walk or kick, while pauses beside holes in the cover give fish time to line up the strike.

In heavier water, use a firmer cadence so the lure stays visible and moving.

It is strongest when predators are feeding up or sitting under cover.

It is not the lure to throw when fish are pinned deep or feeding on tiny open-water baitfish, but in shallow cover it gives you a very direct way to trigger bites.

TARGET SPECIES: bass, snakehead, barramundi, peacock bass, mangrove predators, and fish sitting under pads, mats, reeds, laydowns, or shallow cover.
