Fishpond – Nomad Mid-Length Boat Net – Wild Run Edition: Built for Big Fish and Better Practices

The Fishpond Nomad Mid-Length Boat Net Wild Run Edition is a specialized tool for anglers chasing salmon, steelhead, and other large species. Constructed with a durable carbon fiber and fiberglass composite, this net features a 26-inch deep soft rubber bag designed to minimize fish stress during catch-and-release. The mid-length handle offers the ideal balance of reach and portabilitywhether you’re wading, drifting, or storing it in a net slot. While the soft rubber netting is fish-friendly, its important to handle fish horizontally across the mesh to prevent tears. Designed with conservation in mind, the Wild Run Edition helps reduce post-release mortality, giving you confidence that your trophy fish swims off strong. Level the odds, fish responsibly, and land your legacy.

Please note: the netting is made of only rubber, it is not as strong as nylon coated rubber which you may find in other similar sized nets. When netting fish ensure they are not “head down” in the netting, instead making sure they lay across the netting. Also, do not land fish prematurely to prevent a fish “swimming through” the netting.

Discover the Nomad Mid-Length Boat Net Wild Run Edition, a fusion of purpose-
built design and responsible angling practices. Crafted from carbon fiber and
fiberglass, it boasts a 26-inch deep bag, making it an ideal solution for landing
large, anadromous species like salmon and steelhead. Whether you find yourself
wading the banks or floating a long run from the boat, the Wild Run Edition is
tailored for a broad range of angling scenarios. With a balanced length and a
comfortable handle, the frame of this net is well-suited for a net slot on your pack
or stowed in a boat. Every anglers role is pivotal, and even a small improvement in
survival rates can echo through population sustainability. In keeping with leading
fish-handling principles, the Wild Run Edition minimizes unintentional mortality
and impacts from catch-and-release practices with an extra-large, soft rubber net.
