Garbolino Strike Compact Telenet – 3m

Garbolino Strike Compact Telenet 3m: The Ultimate Travel Handle

The Garbolino Strike Compact Telenet is a specialized telescopic landing net handle designed for the angler who prioritizes portability and space-saving. Unlike standard telescopic handles that can be cumbersome to transport, this Compact version is built with 8 short sections, allowing it to collapse down to a remarkably small footprint.

Constructed from a robust composite material, it offers the perfect balance of strength and durability for everyday silverfish and light carp work. Its ultra-short closed length means it can easily fit inside a standard carryall, a rucksack, or even a suitcase, making it the premier choice for holiday fishing or street fishing in urban environments.

Key Performance Features

• Ultra-Compact 48cm Transport: The standout feature of the Strike Compact is its 48cm closed length. This allows you to store your handle inside your luggage or carryall rather than having to strap it to the outside, protecting it from damage during transit.

• Durable Composite Blank: The composite construction is designed to be forgiving. It provides enough rigidity to reach out to 3 meters while remaining tough enough to handle the knocks and scrapes associated with roving and holiday fishing.

• Universal Brass Thread: Equipped with a high-quality, standard-size brass screw thread, this handle is compatible with virtually any landing net head on the market, from lightweight spoon nets to larger rubber-mesh models.

• 8-Section Stability: Despite having 8 sections, the telescopic joints are precision-engineered to lock securely, ensuring the handle doesnt slip or collapse when youre in the process of netting a fish.

Ideal Fishing Scenarios

• Travel & Holiday Fishing: Its tiny transport size makes it the only choice for anglers flying abroad or taking public transport to their fishing destination.

• Street Fishing & Roving: Perfect for the mobile angler who carries all their gear in a backpack. You can deploy 3 meters of reach in seconds and pack it away just as fast.

• Small River & Canal Tactics: The 3m length is the sweet spot for most canals and small rivers, providing enough reach to clear bankside vegetation without being overly heavy.

• Limited Storage Spaces: Ideal for anglers with small cars or those who want to keep a just-in-case kit permanently in their vehicle.

Gerrys Tip: Because this is a multi-section composite handle, I recommend a quick wipe-down with a damp cloth after fishing in silty or muddy water. Keeping the joints clean will ensure the telescopic action remains smooth and prevents the sections from gritting up over time
