The compass is illuminated for even more visibility in low-light conditions.Rangefinding ReticleThe rangefinding reticle can be used to calculate the distance between you and the object you are looking at. This can be extremely important in nautical environments, assisting as a visual check and as a failsafe to on-board navigation systems. The rangefinding reticle is made up of a grid-like pattern of lines that are segmented into Milliradians, known sometimes as Mils. A milliradian is a unit of angle that can be used to calculate the distance of a known-sized object.Note: The compass is set for northern hemisphere latitudes (Europe and the USA), so it may appear slightly out of focus when used outside of these regions.Features:Built-In Compass With IlluminationRangefinder Reticle Display For Distance Calculation7x Magnification Perfect For Marine ApplicationsExtra-Low Dispersion (ED) GlassPhase CorrectedHigh Resolution Phase Corrected BAK-4 Roof PrismsTwist-Up Eye Cups With Position StopsStay-On Lens CoversFloating Neck StrapNitrogen purgedWaterproof and Fog-proofHawke No-Fault Lifetime WarrantySpecifications:Magnification: 7xObjective Lens: 50mmLens Coating: Fully Multi-CoatedColor: BlueOptical System: System H5Field of View (): 7Eye Relief: 0.8in, 21mmExit Pupil: 0.28, 7.1mmField of View: 367ft @1000yds, 122m @1000mApparent Field of View (): 49Interpupillary Distance: 2.2 – 3, 55 – 75mmClose Focus: 8.2ft, 2.5mPrism Type: RoofPrism Glass: BAK 4Eye Cups: Twist-UpEyecup: 1.8in, 45mmDiopter Type: Right EyeTripod Mounting Thread: Yes (1/4″ – 20 UNC)Height: 6.9, 175mmWidth: 4.8 – 5.3, 121 – 135mmWeight: 32.3oz, 9155g Specifications:Compass: YesField of View @ 1000 YDS: 367Magnification: 7Objective Lens Diameter (MM): 50Waterproof Rating: WaterproofWeight (oz): 32.3Box Dimensions: 4″H x 9″W x 12″L WT: 4 lbsUPC: 5054492365067Brochure (pdf)
