160mm | 1.5 oz | Floating

The Madotachi Gimikin 160mm 1.5 oz Floating Lure is a floating 160mm swimbait/gimmick-style hardbait for anglers who want a large target with more presence and control than a standard minnow.

At 1.5 oz, it is a serious casting lure that needs suitable tackle and line.

A slow steady retrieve is the starting point, but the lure becomes more useful when you add pauses, turns, or small rod inputs so it stops looking mechanical.

The floating body lets you work it over shallow cover and hold it near ambush points longer.

It is strongest around weed, timber, docks, bridge shade, rock edges, and open pockets where predators are willing to track a bigger bait.

It is not the right lure when fish are feeding on tiny bait or when you need a deep presentation.

Choose this finish by water clarity and light level rather than assuming it works everywhere: natural and clearer finishes are better in clean water, while gold, chartreuse, tiger, glow, or high-flash finishes make more sense in low light, stain, surf, or reaction-bite conditions.

TARGET SPECIES: big bass, peacock bass, pike, barramundi, snakehead, sea bass, and predators willing to follow and commit to a large meal-sized bait.
