Matrix Horizon X Ultra Pro X Light Waggler 13ft 12g

Matrix Horizon X Ultra Pro X-Light Waggler 13ft (12g)

The Ultimate Expression of Finesse and Control.

Waggler fishing isnt always about power; often, its about the subtle art of targeting silverfish with hair-thin lines and microscopic hooks. The Matrix Horizon X Ultra Pro X-Light 13ft is a dedicated finesse rod, engineered for the angler who demands a dream action when every ounce counts.

Built on an ultra-slim Japanese carbon blank, this 13ft model provides the additional reach and leverage needed for long-range casting and superior line management on moving water. It is a rod that offers unparalleled sensitivity, ensuring that even the smallest roach or bleak provides a responsive, connected feel.

Key Features & Benefits

• Ultra-High Modulus Carbon Blank: Designed for an incredibly fast line pick-up. This ensures that when you strike at a lightning-fast bite, the rod reacts instantly to set the hook.

• Specialist Silverfish Action: The X-Light action is tuned to be ultra-forgiving. It acts as a shock absorber, allowing you to use the lightest hooklengths (down to 0.06mm) without the risk of smashing on the strike.

• Extended 13ft Reach: The extra length is a significant advantage when fishing deep swims, casting into a headwind, or mending the line on a slow-flowing river to prevent unnatural drag.

• RS Silicon Nitride Guides: Features premium MHLG / HLG guides that drastically reduce friction. This allows light floats to fly further and prevents the line from sticking to the blank in damp conditions.

• Pro-Grade Ergonomics: The ultra-lightweight carbon reel seat and slim EVA handle are designed for comfort during high-frequency casting sessions, making the rod feel like an extension of your arm.

Examples of Use: Where This Rod Excels

• The Big River Waggler: Ideal for fishing a sliding or fixed waggler on rivers like the Trent or the Wye, where the 13ft length helps you control the line over floating weed or varying currents.

• Deep Lake Sessions: Perfect for fishing the Insert or Straight waggler in deep, clear lakes where you need to cast 30m+ and still have the softness to land delicate skimmers.

• Winter League Finesse: When the target is roach on the canal or drain and you are using a size 22 or 24 hook, this rod provides the security to land every fish hooked.

• The Speed Session: Because it is so light and well-balanced, this rod is the choice for bleaking or catching small fish at speed, where heavy gear would cause shoulder fatigue
