Development of the HP Shadtail Worm began by crafting a small shadtail worm suitable for various rigs. This worm’s optimal technique is for both retrieving and ‘shaking’ retrieve, allowing for powerful vibration and water displacement, even when retrieved at a slow speed. When set up with a texas weighlessrig or jighead rig and retrieved, this worm produces powerful wobbling action due to vibration at its head. Drop shot and neko rigs with shaking action see its tail vibrate powerfully and displace water through proper rod-work. Additionally, it can also be used as a trailer for aCarolina rig or small rubber jig such as the O.S.P Syncho.

Large diameter head
Head diameter is specially crafted to handle heavier weights, allowing for the effective use of Namiki’s exclusive neko rig technique.
The purpose of center line
The HP Shadtail 2.5″ is designed to facilitate the full potential of a shad tail worm, featuring guide lines at the top and bottom of its head for improved hold and durability. Its body also contains a center line, allowing for a more precise hook insertion.

Slit
A slit is featured on the back of the HP Shad Tail 2.5″ to store the hook point securely, with an irregular inner structure for added retention. Additionally, the belly part is constructed with a thickened design to ensure the hook remains firmly in place.
3 dots
The 3 dots located on the side of the body serve as insertion markers for hooks. Placement of hooks can be accurately determined when using a neko rig, as the hook point should be inserted into the first dot. For those employing a jighead or small rubber jig set-up, the dots provide guidance for precise positioning so that repositioning is unnecessary.
Thick tail
