OPST Steelhead Shanks

OPST Steelhead Shanks Durable, versatile shanks for intruder and articulated flies.

The OPST Steelhead Shanks are purpose-built for tying intruder-style and articulated steelhead flies, giving tiers the flexibility to design innovative and effective patterns. Made from strong, corrosion-resistant wire, these shanks hold up to repeated use and the demands of swinging flies in powerful currents. The straight design allows for clean, natural fly profiles, while the secure eye ensures easy rigging with trailer hooks or stinger loops. Available in multiple lengths, OPST Steelhead Shanks are perfect for creating custom steelhead and salmon flies that swim with lifelike motion.
