Savage Gear Defiance SG2 Distance Game Spinning Rod – 2.90m/30-70g

Savage Gear Defiance SG2 Distance Game Long Casting Sea Spinning Rod

The Savage Gear Defiance SG2 Distance Game Spinning Rod is designed for anglers who need maximum casting distance when fishing from the shore. Built on a long, lightweight 24/30T high modulus carbon blank, this rod is purpose-engineered to send lures far beyond the surf while maintaining control during the retrieve and fight.

The blank and guide layout are optimised for tight, efficient line flow, helping achieve consistent long casts with minnows, metal spoons, sinking pencils, and other distance-focused lures. This makes the Distance Game series ideal for covering large areas when fishing beaches, rocky coastlines, and river mouths.

Finished with SeaGuide Gunsmoke SW guides, a SeaGuide Gold Label reel seat, and a durable EVA handle, the Defiance SG2 Distance Game is built to perform reliably in demanding saltwater environments. Supplied in a deluxe rod sleeve for protection during transport.
