“Landing Shaft G-Free” pursues stress-free operation when carrying or landing.
The lightweight and compact closed length (49cm for 350, 60cm for 450, 65cm for 550, 75cm for 650) makes it difficult to get in the way when fishing and provides excellent portability.
The sharp feeling of tension when extended supports high-precision operation during the most stressful landing scene.
Conventionally, blanks that are lighter = thinner have reduced strength and stiffness, resulting in shake and power loss, but Shimano’s unique basic structure Spiral X-Core suppresses these disadvantages. It is lightweight yet has high strength and rigidity.
