Shimano Metanium MGL 151

Shimano Metanium MGL 151

The Shimano Metanium MGL 151 is a robust yet lightweight reel and comes with various gear ratios. The housing is made of a magnesium alloy and the S3D MGL spool is designed for particularly long casts. With its various gear ratios and resulting line retrieves, this reel is ideally suited for fishing for zander, pike, and perch. It offers a maximum drag of 5kg with a weight of 175g. The spool with the SVS Infinity braking system allows for extremely relaxed casting distances and offers sufficient line capacity for FC enthusiasts. We recommend the Seaguar R18 LTD , the test winner among FC lines from Japan, as a suitable line.
