Shimano STC AX Spinning 2.70m 50-100g 5pc

Shimano STC AX Spinning | 2.70m 50-100g 5pc

The Ultimate All-Rounder for the Heavy-Duty Traveler.

For the angler who demands versatility without the bulk, the Shimano STC AX Spinning series is the gold standard. Here at Gerrys Fishing, we highly recommend this specific 2.70m (50-100g) model for the predator hunter who needs serious pulling power in a package that fits inside a suitcase.

Whether you are targeting monster Pike on large open waters or tackling aggressive inshore saltwater species with heavy crankbaits and glide baits, this rod defies the travel rod stigma. Thanks to the advanced Full Carbon + Nanosheet construction, Shimano has achieved a fast-action blank that feels incredibly crisp and responsive. Youll find it hard to believe youre fishing with a 5-piece rod; the taper is seamless, providing the casting distance and fish-playing security of a traditional two-piece.

With a transport length of just 58cm, it is one of the most portable high-performance rods on the market, ensuring you never have to leave your best gear behind when heading to the airport or trekking to remote spots.
