Tame the Beast

Shimanos complete redesign and upgrade of the new Tranx 300 B baitcaster takes an already respected workhorse and elevates it straight into the thoroughbred league! Crafted with precision and incorporating Shimanos CoreSolid and Hagane body technologies to integrate the side plate, level wind guard and frame into a single, ultra-rigid unit, the Tranx 300 B is a powerful, flex-free reel suited to tackling the toughest fish swimming in both fresh and saltwater. With its SVS Infinity MD Tune braking, long, trouble-free casting is an absolute breeze even in a breeze! Whether youre firing out over-sized swim baits or finessing lightly-weighted soft plastics, the Tranx 300 Bs integrated X-Ship and Micromodule systems offer the perfect mix of control and accuracy, while X Protect keeps water on the outside, where it belongs. And its all backed up with the sort of drag performance and brute cranking power you need to tame river monsters and sea creatures! In short, Shimanos Tranx 300 B redefines the boundaries of modern, low-profile baitcaster reels by putting potent performance squarely in the hands of even the most discerning angler.
