Smart Tabs Pro Troller Series by Lectrotab f/12′-16′ Boats w/40 – 80 HP [PT980-40]

Pro Troller Smart Tabs Series for 12′-16′ Boats with 40 – 80 HP

Trolling Brakes & Trim Tabs All in One!

The ProTroller series incorporates the ability to turn SMART TABS into trolling brakes. By simply moving a lever up or down, ProTroller Smart Tabs switch between the most effective trim and stabilizer system on the market to the most effective trolling brakes.

TROLLING BRAKES:

With the levers in the down position, the plates drop down to create equal braking on both sides of the boats, providing the added benefit of tracking straight at ultra-low speeds. Steering control is maintained because the propeller is not restricted, as with other systems.

TRIM TABS:

Move the lever up to the running position and enjoy the performance and efficiency of automatic trim tabs. Better ride and handling, faster acceleration, more top speed, and better fuel economy are only a few of the benefits you get with SMART TABS. Not only are they completely automatic, but they can be fine-tuned to each boat and to the boater’s preference. This unlimited versatility provides performance enhancement unmatched by any other product, and it’s GUARANTEED!

If these trim tabs don’t provide you with an outstanding performance increase, contact us within 30 days of your purchase.

Why buy a manually adjusting trim tab set when you can get the automatic trim tabs that will self-adjust and perform better for less money?

The SX series incorporates all of the fully automatic features of our popular SMART TABS, in addition to the rust and corrosion-free benefits of molded composite materials. Assembly can be completed in seconds, and the installation in a few minutes. The only tools required are a drill with a 3/16″ bit and a Phillips screwdriver. SMART TABS SX provide unequaled performance and durability with no maintenance in fresh or salt water. The system can be specifically tuned to maximize the performance of any power boat, and TRACKING RIBS have been added to improve handling at higher speeds.

Our breakthrough technology in trim tabs is completely automatic, requiring no operator adjustment while underway. Nauticus trim tabs self-adjust according to how you load and maneuver your boat.

The nitrogen Gas Actuator provides LIFT at the stern of the boat by holding the trim plate down during acceleration. The amount of LIFT is determined by the actuator load rating and the trim plate adjustment, which is done at the time of installation.

• Reduce the minimum planning speed by up to 33%
• Faster Acceleration
• Increase top speed
• Provide a level, more comfortable ride at lower speeds
• Improve fuel economy, handling, and safety

NO HYDRAULICS – NO ELECTRIC SWITCHES

Nauticus trim tabs are completely automatic requiring no operator adjustment while underway.

The nitrogen Gas Actuator provides LIFT at the stern of the boat by holding the trim plate down during acceleration. The amount of LIFT is determined by the actuator load rating and the trim plate adjustment, which is done at the time of installation.(see installation instruction).

SPEED REGULATION

Nauticus trim tabs start in a downward angel to maximize lift at slow speeds. As the boat accelerates, the water pushes up on the trim plates providing lift to the stern which minimizes bow rise, and allows the boat to plane quickly.

Once the water pressure exceeds the actuator load rating (maximum lift) the trim plates move up to a horizontal position eliminating any drag.

BOAT STABILIZERS

Even when cruising SMART TABS continue to work like shock absorbers. The constant adjustment to sea conditions allow SMART TABS to provide remarkable stability in turns, while crossing waves, while cruising, and while running at maximum speeds. No more sliding, porpoising, or chine walking.

ONE OF A KIND

The unique system is the only one of its kind in the industry. The internal valve system is truly “smart” in its design of controlling you boats performance.

It will reduce the minimum planning speed by 33%

Provide a level, more comfortable ride at lower speeds

Improve economy, handling and safety

As the boat speed increases, the water pressure also increases. Once the water pressure exceeds the Actuator load rating (maximum LIFT period) the trim plates begin to move upward until they are horizontal with the bottom of the boat.

The internal valve system dampens the trim plate movement which eliminates any instant reaction to minor water pressure variances. Nauticus trim tabs provide smooth and undetectable reaction to boat speed creating a level, more comfortable ride at lower speeds.

INSTALLATION IS SIMPLE

With an electric drill, small drill bit, a phillips screwdriver, and two wrenches, just about anyone can install SMART TABS in less than an hour. Professional installers should be able to install SMART TABS in 30 minutes or less.

*All mounting hardware, instructions, and templates are included.

*SMART TABS require NO THROUGH HULL DRILLING
