Sunset Sunpack Sportfish Evo 1.65m Rod Holdall

Sunset Sunpack Sportfish Evo 1.65m Rod Holdall: Rigid Protection for the Mobile Angler

Transporting expensive rods shouldnt be a gamble. Here at Gerrys Fishing, weve seen too many tips snapped in car boots or crushed on the way to the mark. The Sunset Sunpack Sportfish Evo is the solution for anglers who want the lightweight feel of a fabric sleeve but the peace of mind of a hard case.

Built with a reinforced PVC frame, this 1.65m holdall maintains its shape and integrity even when fully loaded. The 100% nylon outer is tough and water-resistant, while the interior provides a secure environment for your surfcasting or spinning rods. Whether you are trekking over rocks or packing the car for a club match, this holdall ensures your gear arrives in the same condition it left the house.

Built for the Rugged Coastline

Stability and durability are at the core of the Sportfish Evo. The base features a reinforced heel equipped with four non-slip pads, allowing you to stand the bag up on damp or uneven ground without it sliding or soaking up moisture. With a large side pocket for your tripod, umbrella, or sand spikes, its a complete transport system designed to keep your hands free for the hike.

Where to Use

• Rock Fishing: The PVC frame protects against sharp stone edges and accidental drops on hard surfaces.

• Public Transport & Travel: If youre hopping on a bus or train to get to your mark, the rigid frame prevents your rods from being squeezed or bent.

• Tidy Storage: Keep your rods organized and dust-free in the garage or shed; the non-slip pads keep it upright against the wall.

• The One-Trip Angler: Use the large side pocket and adjustable straps to carry everything you need from the car to the shore in one go.

• Takes 3 piece rods up to 15ft

Gerrys Top Tip: When loading your rods, try to stagger them so the reels arent sitting directly against each other. If youre carrying un-rigged rods, use a couple of neoprene rod straps to bundle the sections together before sliding them inthis prevents them from rattling against the PVC frame and keeps your guides perfectly aligned
