Tarpon Black Death

Tarpon Black Death A bold, classic tarpon fly for big-game success.

The Tarpon Black Death is one of the most iconic tarpon flies, trusted by saltwater anglers around the world. Its dark silhouette, flowing hackle, and flashy red accents create a strong profile that tarpon cant resist in both clear and stained water. Designed to swim naturally with each strip, this fly is deadly on the flats, in channels, and around mangroves where big tarpon hunt. Tied on a heavy-duty saltwater hook, it withstands blistering runs, explosive jumps, and repeated strikes. A must-have fly for anglers targeting the silver king.
