Where to Use (Applications & Uses)

Tronixpro Blackout is a versatile workhorse for several key sea fishing scenarios:

• Hook Snoods for Whiting & Eels: The perfect choice for twisty species. Blackout eliminates the memory twist usually induced when retrieving eels or multiple whiting, keeping your snoods straight for the next cast.

• Rig Body Construction: Its high abrasion resistance makes it an excellent choice for building rig bodies that need to withstand the friction of sliding beads and heavy leads.

• Leader Building: The stealth black finish and round profile make it a superb material for building tapered or shock leaders where knot strength is non-negotiable.

• Rough Ground Fishing: The special outer coating provides essential protection against the abrasive nature of saltwater, rocks, and UV light, ensuring the line doesnt weaken during long sessions.

Gerrys Pro Tip:

If you are fishing in clear water or bright conditions, the Black finish of this line provides a fantastic stealth advantage. It breaks up the silhouette of the rig against a dark or mixed seabed, making it much harder for wary species like Bass or large Cod to spot your tackle. Plus, because its so soft, it allows your bait to move naturally with the tidean absolute must for enticing big fish!

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What does Memory Free actually mean?

Memory is the tendency of a fishing line to keep the shape of the spool (coiling). Tronixpro Blackout is Memory Free, meaning it pulls off the spool straight and stays straight, even after being knotted or stretched.

Is this line easy to knot?

Yes! Despite its high strength and abrasion resistance, Blackout is incredibly soft. This allows knots to bed down perfectly and securely without burning or weakening the line, giving you 100% confidence in your rigs integrity.

Will the black colour wash off over time?

No. The black pigment is part of the lines construction and is further protected by a UV-resistant coating, ensuring it stays stealthy and durable throughout its lifespan
