Westin Dropbite Tungsten Spin Tail Jig – 1.6cm 7g

Westin DropBite Tungsten Spin Tail Jig (1.6cm / 7g) Ultra-Finesse Long-Casting Vibration

At Westin we love lures that are long casting and easy to fish, and the DropBite Tungsten Spin Tail Jig is the ultimate expression of this philosophy in a micro size. This compact, dense lure, measuring an ultra-finesse 1.6cm and weighing a potent 7 grams, is a hard nut built for maximum casting distance on light tackle and fast descent into the strike zone.

Tungsten Advantage and Amplified Vibration

The key to the DropBites performance lies in its core construction and blade integration:

• Extreme Casting: The Tungsten body provides maximum density in a compact shape, enabling this lure to cast a mile for its size and quickly reach the desired depth, even in moderate conditions.

• Amplified Vibration: The tungsten body is fixed directly into our custom-made Westin Colorado blade. Thanks to this direct connection, the vibrations from the blade are amplified by the body, creating an intense sonic footprint that calls predators from far and wide.

• Action on the Drop: The Colorado blade and integrated ball bearing swivel ensure the blade will spin and vibrate even when the lure drops, triggering instant reaction strikes from predators.

• Swimming Action: On a steady retrieve, the lure provides the most insane tight and erratic swimming action, thanks to its fat and compact shape.

Versatile Fishing Techniques

This extremely detailed lure works great in all types of water, including deeper lakes, on rivers, and from the shore or boat:

• Retrieve: Let it sink to the desired depth and fish it on a steady retrieve or use a spin/stop to maximize its fluttering action.

• Jigging: Try jigging it along the bottom for a reaction bite.

• Vertical Fishing: DropBite Tungsten Spin Tail Jig can also be fished vertically, straight under the boat, simply working it up and down in the water column.
