Jigging using a metal jig weighing under 100g is generally referred to as light jigging, but this model is a rod specifically for super light jigging that uses a further reduced jig weight of around 20-80g.
Yellowtail fish and rockfish are common targets for off shore jigging, but this rod was designed with grunt, red seabream, horse mackerel, and medium-sized rockfish in mind.
If you use light lines and lightweight jigs, you will see a completely different world. You’ll be surprised at how many fish bites there are. What’s more, the thrilling fight on the light line is sure to make you addicted. There may be some anglers who have been using aging rods and light game rods.
